Dairy Milk Marvellous Mix Ups with Oreo

It seems that the Marvellous Creations line that's been released by Cadbury's/Mondalez isn't going to be one that's short lived what with seemingly regular additions to the range. Most recently two 'Marvellous Mix Up' bags along with a new 'Marvellous Creations' bar have been brought out to tempt us!

Marvellous Mix Ups with Oreo

Today we'll review one of the Marvellous Mix Up bags - with Oreo. So okay, from the offset it appears as if this sharing bag is just a hodge podge of other products that Cadbury's Mondalez already do all thrown together in a bag, something you could do yourself really if you had the time & inclination to buy a few various products and mix them all up. However there's something rather nice and convenient about being able to just go out and pick up one of these bags and know that you aren't going to sick of the same innards by the time you reach half way. Okay, I know..these are meant to be "sharing" bags, but to be honest, there's not a whole lot in them and generally people can quite easily finish off one of these bags all to themselves, so you're going to want a bit of variety!

Inside there are mini Oreos, Cadbury's white chocolate buttons, Cadbury's giant milk chocolate buttons and some Cadbury's Pebbles. There is the perfect combination between crunchy, biscuity and smooth. This bag is incredibly moreish  and you find yourself making up different combinations to experience different flavour and texture experiences..."okay I'll just sandwich this mini Oreo in between 2 giant chocolate buttons"..."or how about a pebble white chocolate button sandwich".

Although it's nothing massively different in terms of what is actually inside I like the concept of variety. I know quite a few people don't like the new concept of Marvellous Creations, saying that Cadbury's has turned too "Wonka-like". In all honesty I love it, I like the wacky combos and that you're not just getting "plain chocolate". Would I buy these? Definitely!

Taste - 8.7/10 - Okay so these aren't you're artisan chocolates but they're really really good! So moreish!
Texture - 8.8/10 - Perfect contrast of crunchy and smooth.
Appearance - 7.6/10 - Looks great, glad that giant milk chocolate buttons have been used to offer some difference in size to the white chocolate buttons.
Price - 7.7/10 - These will be priced in line with other Cadbury's sharing bags. I think I'd choose these over other offerings.
Overall - 8.2/10 - A really great new idea, I look forward to seeing what other additions will be added to this range.

WHO FOR?
I can see these being a great sharing bag for all the family...or you know, just yourself.

WHERE TO BUY?
The only place I've seen these so far is Asda on special offer for £1, I presume other stores will be getting them in soon.
