Belfine Christmas Chocolate Selection

Christmas to me, when I was younger, was all about novelty chocolate figurines; there was something about them that just because the chocolate was moulded into a different shape and presented differently that it automatically tasted better. A part of me still holds onto that nostalgic idea; I'm disappointed if I don't receive at least one novelty chocolate figurine at Christmas; despite all the luxurious/unique chocolates you can get and enjoy there's something about breaking into a cute figurine on Christmas Day evening and dipping it into a warm cup of tea whilst watching a classic Christmas film.

However quite often these chocolate figurines are made with poor quality chocolate, they don't taste great and they send you into a sugar filled coma, which doesn't help when combined with all the indulgences consumed earlier in the day. As you'll have read from my couple of other reviews from Belfine, however, is that their chocolate is really good, which makes a nice change from the run of the mill barely any cocoa, lots of sugar stuff, that gets used to make most novelty pieces.

The Belfine Belgian chocolate is creamy, indulgent and not too sweet with all the rich milky notes you come to expect from a quality Belgian chocolate; the texture is luxurious and melt in the mouth and the pieces that their delicious chocolate is used to are adorable.

There's hollow bears, Santas and snowmen, miniature bars adorned with writing and chocolate lollies if you fancy just something a smaller rather than breaking into a whole figurine. Whether you're looking for something for a kid or a big kid at heart these are ideal, they don't  break the bank, they're adorably cute and they're actually good quality chocolate that you can feel secure in knowing that the gift you are giving isn't just bulked out with sugar, with at least 32% cocoa solids. Yum indeed.
